Happy New Year!
It's that time of year again where everyone seems to be wondering what new year resolution(s) should be made. I have a few.......
One is to do more hand stitching. Stitching keeps me grounded, sort of speak. I also find it to be very calming and satisfying, and no matter what else I decide to dabble in, I always return to stitching.
The stitching on this jean jacket was inspired by a quilt book I bought some 15 years ago. Instead of a quilt, I have decided to put a few of those cute animals on my jacket. For the last few winters (when it's too cold to wear a jean jacket) I add more detail.
You will probably see more of this jacket in the next few months before the warm weather arrives.
Another resolution I made is......
only have 3 projects in the works at one time. This is going to be pretty tough, since I have a really bad habit of seeing something I want to try, and thinking I have to try it Right Now!
The second part to this resolution is..... one of the projects has to be an unfinished project I've already started. This is in the hopes of cleaning out all those UFOs.
Do you have any New Year Resolutions you'd like to share?
